Hearts at War is the first feature film from Purple Sky Productions. Initially written as a 45 minute film, it grew to become a full length feature as new characters and further development to the storyline was added. Shot primarily on location throughout Wales, the film captures exquisite scenery as a backdrop to the action.
What is most impressive of Hearts at War is the minimal budget on which it has been produced. The production team have been incredibly clever with finding locations that depict the period accurately. A lot of research has also gone into costume and hair styles of the period.
Who We Are
Purple Sky Productions are a production company based in South Wales. Established in 2013 the company have produced a number of short films which have been shown in festivals and are now venturing into feature length production. With the completion of "Hearts at War" Purple Sky are seeking to raise their profile and have a number of future projects in the pipeline.
